Using calligraphy a visual art
penning words from the heart
how to make you feel each stroke
verses of rain and thunder broke
etched across a parchment page
watercolor flowers set the stage
a teardrop falls, smudging thoughts
maybe, someday our letters will cross

writing a 44 word quadrille

I wrote this during a thunderstorm it's been stormy here all day.
Just beautiful True, eloquent and tender.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rob! It takes a lot of patience to perfect the art.
DeleteLove the flow of this, much like the gentle waves of the calligraphy.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting, calligraphy does ebb and flow.
DeleteIt truly is an art as many an ancient manuscript illustrates! The way you describe it, it also sounds like a form of meditation...
ReplyDeleteI agree it is a lost art.
DeleteCalligraphy is truly a beautiful art! With handwriting becoming less popular, cursive and writing in calligraphy will be collectable!
