A single red rose
late summer bloom
dare I touch it
my heart quivers
for that one love
I never touched
grasping the thorns
of passion and life,
yearning to discover
the heart of the rose
our imperfections
inhaling the beauty

What About Love - Heart
Lovely. Unrequited that one was, but you got a win in the end. I like it. Thanks for sharing.

The beauty engulfs all the worldly restrains currently troubling everyone! Its aroma helps in forgetting such pressures. Stay safe, True, Ma'am!

The yearning and pain goes away once the heart is accepted by another heart!
