I've got the cold weather blues
bundling up just to read my email
this heart of mine is feelin' bruised
the winter winds let out a wail
let it go, let it go
let it go, with the new fallin' snow
You know I've been thinking of you
wondering do you still think of me
full cold moon is rising into view
the willow tree now in dormancy
let it go, let it go
let if go, with the new fallin' snow
I've got the cold weather blues
a poetic song, could warm my nights
sing to me about love that's true
let's dance under December starlight
let it go, let it go
let it go, with the new fallin' snow

Let It Go (Idina Menzel)

DeleteLove it. This one strikes a chord, all right. Love the rhythm, the tone of voice, you speaking.
ReplyDeletePray, why did you delete those excellent poems at my spot? Loved those, too. But when I wanted to comment at my shoe, gone they were.
Another year's about to say bye
Time's a-flyin'
I don't know why.
Sleep tight.

Hi Blue, imagine my surprise to see a comment from you!
DeleteI did leave you a poem in response to your post but, then I thought perhaps I shouldn’t have spun off your poem.
I guess, I was just feeling blue, tell me true how are you?
I'm doing ok. Not great but at least so much better than a year ago. Thank you for asking. Feeling blue I can relate too :)
DeleteHi Blue - I hope you don't have a blue Christmas! I wish you happiness!
DeleteSo nice of you to say that. I had a very peaceful Christmas. It'd been a while. Hope yours was good, too.
