Standing on the edge of a dream
crumbling beneath me pieces of yesterday
there is a star on the horizon leading to
a higher consciousness in the morning sun
but, tonight drifting between the worlds
the archway to another sphere of being
here in the darkness, struggling to find light
traveling cliffs high above the mossy earth
what can be seen at this height, shall I call upon
the bird of perception, what would his orbs
reveal in the mist of transition
dreams take me on mysterious journeys
to places I have never seen, meeting oracles
in quiet hours, when others are sleeping
sometimes, communing with the departed
but, never drinking from their cup
it is in this state of mind, that events become
crystal clear, I realize that we all walk cliff
edges in life each time we face a new challenge
or set out on a new path of unknowns
don't let the songs of darkness sway
you from the radiant songs of light....

I love the whole idea of a higher consciousness, and remembering to focus on "the radiant songs of light" in the midst of the darkness. Beautiful, True.
ReplyDeleteThe songs of light bring us through the darkness. Some days it is hard to stay focused.

Good advice True! One should not be led off from little inconveniences that might get us off track for no good reasons.

Cliff edges will always exist, but we do not always notice.
this is wonderful, Tru!
Hello True. Whenever events become crystal clear to me, I try to ignore what I'm seeing. I think you know why.
ReplyDeleteAlmost 2023.... Can you believe it?
It is reasonable we should value light which spreads faith. For it will stop wagging tongues and instil hope and enjoyment and love, true heaven on Earth. Merry Christmas Truedessa and have a joyous New Year
