Beyond the Stars

Tamsin awakens in a frenzy of emotions. Her heart beating rapidly recalling her dream.  In a champagne sky her thoughts quickly drift to Aden.  Remembering his smell, the warmth of his touch. His eyes warm pools she longed to swim in. Yes, she was under a magical spell and she hopes it will never be broken. Knowing in her heart that he is now part of the dragon didn't alter her feelings.  In the silence before dawn her secret confession. Her love for him transcends all boundaries. Sighing, in a vast heaven she whispers "I love you'.

Suddenly, a jolt of cosmic energy circulates her chamber. A change in the vibrating frequencies of light that guides the Dragon through holes of darkness.  She reaches out to Aden knowing he will feel her distress. Jumping out of bed she must warn Aden of impending danger. A battle erupts in a distant world.  Her mind whirls in this new vision of a blue planet where the sky river runs. The inhabitants are a gentle breed who guard the mountain ranges from intruders.

It's imperative that she speak with Aden.  There is an urgent need to change their course and find this world. They had been given the assignment to test water and surface samples in new locations ensuring the lands were livable terrains. Surely, this could wait as the mountain people have sent out an SOS for help and she had received their pleas for assistance.

Aden was restless as he kept a watchful eye over the dragon,  he was piloting. His crew depended on his expertise to guide them through uncharted skies. He had noticed Tamsin was a bit on edge before she retired last evening.  He felt a strange force of energy and knew something was amiss. He heard Tamsin's whispers and his heart ached, he knew he would do whatever she asked of him.  In silence he waited for her to approach the bridge.

"Good morning, Lieutenant” Aden, gently spoke

"Good morning, Sir, I wish permission to speak to you about a new situation that requires our immediate attention”.

A moment of silence as he pondered what would be coming and his heart already felt heavy.

"Permission granted"

"Sir, early this morning I received a distress signal from a planet on the outer rim of the galaxy.  It seems, mountain dwellers are being attacked by some sort of evil force.  They request assistance as they are guardians of a sacred sky river."

Aden studied Tamsin's face and could see her concern in the slight quiver of her lipsHe wondered how they would find this planet and what would be the magnitude of this encounter.  His mind quickly contemplated different scenarios.  He would need to know all the details of her dream.

"Do you know their coordinates, are you able to track them using your internal antenna”, Aden questioned.

"Sir, I am sure with a bit of research, I can determine their whereabouts “, she quickly took her seat and began touching the control panel, plotting their coordinates with those she picked up in the message.

Aden felt a surge of energy the moment she touched the control panel. It brought a smile to his face, he felt her warm fingers lingering on the keyboard, he could feel her heartbeat.  He worried about this

mission, what real danger lurked in the darkness.  He would not jeopardize the safety of his crew but he knew Tamsin would find a way to follow her dream.

Tamsin has been waiting most of her life

for the portal of her dreams to open

on fluttering wings, longing to take flight

renewal in a land barren and broken

Sunrise, moon-rise, clouds that hide

a world of adventure at her fingertips

searching for a remote mountainside
navigator of a mystical dragon ship

Can Aden and Tamsin save the sacred sky river?

Will Tamsin's one wish be granted?

Can dreams alter their destiny?

Intergalactic Heart

she navigates the heavenly stars
sitting on the bridge of uncertainty
he pilots her beyond Venus and Mars

transcending boundaries, healing scars
a dragon's heart beats eternally
she navigates the heavenly stars

voyage to light, no matter how far
spiraling rings, gateway to eternity
he pilots her beyond Venus and Mars

freeing spirits from undue bars
soaring to the edge of insanity
she navigates the heavenly stars

magical wonders in a galactic bazaar
music found in a dreamy guitar
he pilots her beyond Venus and Mars

doorway to the universe left ajar
defying the law of gravity
she navigates the heavenly stars
he pilots her beyond Venus and Mars

Beyond the Heart, Never Apart

courtesy of free-photos

A dragon flies two heart entwined in flight
Tamsin and Aden waiting to soar new heights
between rippling oceans and deserts sands
forever reaching for the others hand

dreaming in another realm, a planet of blue
starlit crystals in a cosmic twilight dew
Tamsin and Aden navigate an amethyst sky
on wings of a dragon with mystical eyes

searching the stars for their hearts desire
dawn awakening to passions burning fires
a soul love, stronger than any human bond
ripples of emotions floating on a lotus pond

for in the heart, their tale began to grow
basking in the sun and moon's warm glow
seeking the heavenly garden of Eden
in faraway lands, they are still believing

crossing the bridge between two worlds
allowing their dreams to gently unfurl
a man with a story evolving in his heart
a woman who felt him from the start

where the story goes, only they know
soaring wherever the wind doth blow
awakening to the frequency of love
Tamsin & Aden glisten in stars above

Dragon Breathes Life - Burns Strife..

in an  August  sky  the winds  shift
revealing  your  spirit   to  me
dark  unruly  clouds  dissipate
tears softly  fall  into  the  sea

take  me  to   that   enchanted  land
star  beads laced  across  the  sky
destiny  in  the hands of  fate
how  many  cliff  tops must we fly

searching  deep  golden orbs of  light
finding  comfort  within  his wings
breathless ,  wandering  poet  sighs
dragon heart  awakens  and  sings

composing  romantic  ballads
living  in  a  magical  realm
truth  flapping in a cosmic sea
warrior spirit at the helm

in  an  August sky the winds shift
revealing  my spirit  to you
dark  unruly clouds  dissipate
a dragon's tale comes into view

Rocking the Galaxies...

Sometimes the mind wanders
to those special places inside
in a world of silence she ponders
soaring with him, enjoying the ride

every story written has a beginning
time changes, there are no minutes
for the dragon's song has no ending
infinite boundaries, sky has no limits

fiery beast moves to a steady rhythm
heaven sighs with deep metal riffs
together they venture on a mission
soaring eastern skies, hovering cliffs

traveling through new dimensions
shifting melodies, vibrations of light
jolts of energy awaken their senses
flames ignite,  burning through night

crossing the astral plane of existence
roaring dragon sings haunting songs
conquering g- forces little resistance
amidst the vast cosmos he belongs

visions appear within crystal eyes
dreams unfold "dragon of the stars"
adventure awaits in distant skies
rocking the galaxy, seductive guitars

within a warm secret cavern they land
discovering magical treasures inside
two minds slowly begin to understand
the wondrous joy in a sapphire tide

I have written a poem to kick start the event. I hope you will take a minute to read and join me in wishing Alex success with his book.

Dragon's Song

opening  gateways to the galaxies
beyond the milky way a bridge
between two worlds a new star
adventure awaits over the ridge

commanding his own star-ship
man with a vision to soar the sky
living  in harmony with his bride
lofty dreams float in a pilot's eye

until turmoil surrounds his world
what and whom must he defeat
his heart hears the wild beast sing
pulses of energy,  with each beat

eyes ablaze, flying across the heavens
echoes of the fabled dragon's song
mighty vessel, about to be unleashed
fierce  warrior singing loud and strong

darting across the celestial sphere
on a hunt for the  legendary beast
Hyrath's only hope, can it be found
halting enemy fleets about to be released

Aden, man of honor,  knight of valor
pain and anguish penetrate the sky
swooping on the wings of a dragon
unflinching, he will not let his world die

honoring the hymns of his beloved
duet song of two wandering hearts
determined to wear the golden ring
will he survive when the battle starts

I guess we need to buy the book
and let the adventure unfold
