I pen words, creating my life story
leaving imprints, signature of my soul
verses in a field of morning glories
inscribing messages on birch skin scrolls

Bouncing From Here to There

I think there is wisdom in  

grasshoppers, choreographing

their  journey one bounce at

a time...always moving forward

to the rhythm of life.

singing songs from their heart

taking leaps of faith ..seeing

beyond the concrete world

knowing fields of green are

waiting for discovery

linking with dVerse

writing a quadrille - 44 words

Carry Me Through

My words are fragments of dreams and reality. On feathered wings I fly.  
Chanting syllables in ancient tongue. Navigating stars, soaring with

dragons beyond the milky way.  I choose to drink in the frequency of love.
My poems awakening beneath sun and moon. In a mystic realm visions become
clear.  I sometimes feel my words aren't my own. Hovering over my shoulder

an apparition whispers in my ear.  I catch the beat of a distant drum connecting
with heaven and earth.  Creating a song or poem to carry me through the
seasons of life.

winter dreams slumber
under fresh blankets of snow
rooting for springtime

funny, life ain't what it seems

when you were feeling down

I was always around...

now, I'm fallin', fallin' fallin'

C'mon tell me where are you

I once wished upon a shooting star

opening the gateways from afar

waiting for the time to be just right

awakening to mysteries of the night

I'm still searching  for a dream

I gave you something to believe in

a piece of magic from deep within

On broken wings, silence fell

in a heart, dreams still dwell

searching for hidden clues

through this place of deja vu

but, I'm still believin', believin'

believin' dreams do come true...

In The Land of Imagination

Hello,

Something different tonight!

I just finished reading the 3rd book in the Max Blizzard series written by Patrick Hatt.  This series is a wild adventure into the land of imagination.

Max is a young boy who finds adventures and friendship through the land of imagination.  The series is a testament to friendship and what can be accomplished using the power of imagination. Through-out the series we see the characters evolve and become stronger in their desire to save various realms from evil forces.  There are moments of darkness and light that test their strength, courage and commitment to each other and the people they love. We get a glimpse of each as they grow-up and form new bonds in the journey.

This is a great series for pre-teens through adults. It re-enforces the need for creativity in a society where being different is frowned against.  It takes the mind on a whirlwind adventure. You will find yourself routing for the 3 friends from beginning to end as they race towards their ultimate fates.

The covers are eye-catching! Who wouldn't want to surrender to the pages in between and let their imagination take flight?
