In an autumn mist I think of you
two souls yearning for life's kiss
in a wild forest our hearts grew
in an autumn mist I think of you
finding our way dreams in view
transcending time heavenly bliss
in an autumn mist I think of you
two souls yearning for life's kiss

Autumn colors are bursting here..
Autumn colors are bursting here..
Interesting pic indeed, had to do a double take to see the person. Two as one as the yearning makes them come undone.
ReplyDeleteInteresting pic indeed, I saw that and thought of two..
DeleteLife's kiss - sounds new and intriguing....xx
ReplyDeleteA new season..new thoughts and sounds..
Delete'two sounds yearning for life's kiss' -- a lovely thought, Truedessa.

ReplyDeleteThank you Grace I hope you enjoy your Sunday.
DeleteAs always loved this one too:) is this any poetic form, for I love its flow and rhythm
ReplyDeleteThank you..I learned this form over at dVerse Mary and Bjorn have done a few that I have enjoyed. I tried it with "and Then the Rain Came as well.
DeleteGot it its a triolet:)
ReplyDeleteautumn and a wild forest and the yearning for love and life's kiss... i get this...smiles
ReplyDeletethanks Claudia, who doesn't enjoy a wild forest of dreams.
DeleteOh yes .. Such a great theme for a triolet.. And the importance of that kiss...
ReplyDeleteThank Bjorn, I've always enjoyed your triolets so thought I would give it a go as it re-enforces the message.
DeleteI love "two souls yearning for life's kiss."
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry, we all have a yearning for something in life..
Deletehmm...lovely and sweet!
ReplyDeletean autumn mist reminds me of tears and the yearning makes it all the more poignant...however there are dreams in view and assurance of heavenly bliss. ....wonderful Truedessa....
ReplyDeleteThank you..don't we all want a bit of bliss in life?
DeleteI like the movement you've given in this: for me it's about lingering innocence and the discovery of love, perhaps seen in the rear view mirror. Interesting ideas and execution. Nice job.

Thank you Stacy I think the change in season allows for some great poetry.
Deletethe repetition works well in this...autumn is a time of reflection for many...and yearning...as all goes to sleep until spring....
ReplyDeleteHi Brian,
DeleteA time of reflection in an autumn mist..that is true as nature prepares to go into hibernation for the long winter months.
It is very important to find someone to keep you warm in winter so autumn is your last chance!
ReplyDeleteI believe there is always a chance for warmth no matter the season thanks for visiting. It is appreciated.
DeleteI love the use of repetition. Also, I love the use of repetition. (Little joke) Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you repetition is always nice..smiling..
DeleteAh life's kiss....such a beautiful image that evokes Truedessa. This is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Carrie..
DeleteThe picture and the poem go together beautifully. I love the autumn romance.
ReplyDeleteHi Myrna thank you for your kindness..
DeleteI'm not a fan of autumn except for... the smell. That I love, and a lot too. So, how are you?
ReplyDeleteAh Blue, the other day the air had that crisp autumn smell and it made me pause to savor the scent. I have to say I do not like what comes after fall the dreaded winter and snow. I am getting through the days thanks for asking.
DeleteWinter... let's skip it. Where should we go?
Deletelol..let's go somewhere warm..How about Key West?
DeleteAren't we all just searching for another to share with? Maybe not but still a great poem.
ReplyDeleteSmiling, thanks for visiting..
Deletetender and beautiful
