Spring Waltz

Stroking lovingly ebony & ivory keys
my heart softly composes a spring waltz
pink cherry blossoms, blooming in trees
finding harmony in my deepest thoughts

my heart softly composes a spring waltz
tingling vibrations, writing down notes
finding harmony in my deepest thoughts
in a gentle breeze a melody softly floats

tingling vibrations, writing down notes
tu(lips) dancing,  romancing the night
in a gentle breeze a melody softly floats
playing a song into the morning light

tu(lips) dancing, romancing the night
pink cherry blossoms, blooming in trees
playing a song into the morning light
stroking lovingly ebony & ivory keys

  2. It is the heart that composes and writes the songs. I love the harmony and true beauty of music that is flowing here Truedessa! Sweet and full of the hope spring holds.

  3. Is this a modified villanelle or some other form? The repetition beautifully enhances the substance … and it's top to bottom reversal of lines SINGS. Gosh, I'm delighted. Thank you!

    1. Hi Susan,

The form I used it a Pantoum, I haven't written one in a while but, I thought it might work well for what I was thinking.

      Thank you for asking.

  7. I can hear it,lovely tunes. Did you know that if you compose on a keyboard that it will write down the notes that you use. Just like my ditties that I write here on my Galaxy 8 smart phone does for my poem compositions. I learned piano as an adult by taking Class Piano 101 and 102 at my community college where I taught. You could do that, they have fine teachers.

    1. Hi Jim,

Thank you for that information. I wonder if the community college around here offers Piano. I might have to look into that.
