How do I abide the constraints of time
when all I want to do is fast forward
leaving this darkness behind me
How do I abide the constraints of love
when all I want to do is sojourn
to you and touch your face

Sadly we can't fast forward but rewinding would be even worse.
ReplyDeleteTrue Alex, I guess time is now and we need to make the best of "now".
DeleteLongingly Perfect. Salute!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ron
DeleteAbiding and biding our time is a challenge to anyone's patience! Very nice work on this one Truedssa!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a challenge some days Dwight
DeleteIt is hard to bide your time when waiting for the return of a loved one!
ReplyDeleteI think time seems a bit suspended as we can't see many of those we miss.

ReplyDeleteWinter will be here soon and we will slip into more darkness awaiting the light.

ReplyDeleteBjorn, that is true we have no choice but, go through the motions of our days. Trying to make the best of the simple joys of life.
DeleteSigh. I dont know which is more painful, fast forwarding or winding back..........I teeter in the Now, and try to keep my balance. Smiles.
ReplyDeleteCan't fast forward or things would be missed.
ReplyDeleteLovely, Trudessa. I like "the constraints of time."
