Lull Me to Sleep

There’s a lullaby for suffering easing the pain of heartbreak. The music is soothing allowing one to drift into a state of peacefulness. It’s a scene called a dream where the impossible becomes possible.  It’s a place where you and I met long ago but, I remember it well.

Wandering lost in another realm our worlds collided.  I knew then, my story, was forever changed. Connected to something greater than I could ever truly understand.  Creating an alternate world, we conversed plotting our recovery one star at a time.  It was a time of magic as two souls touched in an extraordinary way.

I should have known better than to fall in love in a dream but a fool often thinks with the heart, I still search for you under blue moonbeams.  Lull me to sleep my love so I might dream of you.

  2. I love your mix of dreams and reality! They don't always seem to mix! Expectations get in the way!

  3. Truedessa, this part really gets to me: "I should have known better than to fall in love in a dream" I've beat myself up a million times with this. I hope one day you forgive yourself {{{HUGS}}}

  10. I sense that yearn for the dream of it, dreams are a mixed bag, but the profound ones filled with magic, love or other, can be so precious.
