Tree of life "forever"engraved
in our hearts
The interconnections
of all things, life, death
and renewal
It's trunk sturdy in times
of darkness
It's branches reaching
outward and upward
seeking light
Balance and harmony
found when heaven and
earth kiss
May spring bloom love

it is amazing with all the animals carvings
Very cool tree and great poem, Truedessa.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dwight - it really was cool to see up close. It has 337 carvings of existing and extinct animals. Absolutely amazing.
DeleteTruedessa, first time hearing of it. Googled it and got a closer look. Would love to go see it sometime.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of your poem:
"Balance and harmony
found when heaven and
earth kiss"
Its amazing! I was truly awestruck at the artwork. Symbolic of all creatures.
DeleteWhat an amazing tree. Extra amazing it is at Disneyland. Glad it survived the development, it is a wonder. Your poem is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sherry, my favorite was a giant hawk in the tree. It makes one pause and contemplate the beauty of all earth’s creatures.
DeleteThat tree is awesome. Thanks for sharing it with us and a wonderful poem too. Luv that "kiss of heaven and earth"
ReplyDeleteMuch♡love
Thank you Gillena for visiting. I am having trouble commenting on your site but, I have been reading your wonderful poetry
DeleteWhat an amazing tree! You have done it proud with your quadrille!
ReplyDeleteThank you Carol! It really is a work of art !
DeleteAs you know, I love trees, Truedessa, but I hadn’t heard of the tree of life. An amazing tree, and I love how you captured it in your quadrille. I especially love the lines:
ReplyDelete‘Balance and harmony
found when heaven and
earth kiss’.
Hi Kim, I do know of your love of trees. This is a man made tree but it tells an amazing story.
DeleteTrees are family. Having been engraved with legends and images and wildlife maintains a sense of wonder.
ReplyDeleteI agree! The wonder of trees and their legends throughout time.
DeleteI've seen the tree. Cool park although it's a bit of an overpriced zoo.
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun day but, yes pricey for sure.
DeleteWhat a wonderfully impressive tree!!! Nice quadrille too, True.
ReplyDeleteThank you Helen! It was an impressive tree.
DeleteI do not remember ever hearing about this tree... it seems it may be drowned by Mickey and his friends.
ReplyDeleteThe tree is at the Animal Kingdom park. So, I guess that park isn't as popular at the other parks.
DeleteI love this. The HH is always buying me Tree of Life motifs.
