Weeping Willow
laying my head
upon my pillow
gazing out my bedroom window
gazing out my bedroom window
a beautiful
weeping willow
swaying to a
gentle breeze
appears limber; so
carefree
feet planted firmly in the earth
do not be deceived, nor naive
she has been tried
throughout the years
cried a million
liquid tears
long flowing
branches offer shelter you see
beckoning me to sit upon her feet
I softly ask why
do you weep
a gentle whisper her
reply
for a world lost
in despair
for the needy
the hopeless
the hungry
the dreamless
the sick
the lonely
the brokenhearted
overcome with raw
emotions
realization,
rationalization
many souls need
liberation
heart and mind
take notations
a magnificent tree
The Weeping Willow
