Indescribable

You knocked on the door to my heart
I welcomed you into my revolving world
in between we found a new kind of love
designed just for us; two lost souls

A realm of higher complexity
an  astral plane that only we could fly
floating in a dreamy trance like state
embracing the unknown, we touched

Undeniable
    Indescribable
        Indefinable

We walked in golden sunlight
danced under blue moonlight
flew the infinite cosmic heavens
hung on to the fringes of reality

Transcended moments in time
drifted in the shadows of yesterday
navigated future possibilities
spiritual journey to the other side..

Unquestionable
  Incommunicable
    Inexpressible

Searching for a deeper meaning..a dream quest...
tell me it meant something to you
my moccasins now worn, the soles have softened
traveling the path of pines and dried leaves
chasing a clearer vision.

author's note: I meditated this morning and asked for a message
This older poem made its way into my line of vision. I edited it
a bit, but I feel these are the words I need to share today.

Thank you for reading and your time...

peace, light and love always...

  1. Golden, the memories of such a flight. "Tell me it meant something to you." That is what one needs to know. Those worn moccasins carry wisdom for the path. They know the way.

  10. I'm captured by the line "hung on to the fringes of reality." Something about it gives me a visceral response to the wildness of the imagery.

Don't we all long for that? Although I'm an introvert, I want that kind of connection.

    Love,

    1. Well, when you travel the astral planes with another soul you wonder?

  14. Ah, this is so good — the reading provides a certain conviction of this astral plane where things may be indescribable and yet very deeply felt. :-)

  15. Beautifully written, from the soul to another soul, as if by ESP.
    I read it three times!!

Seen you around from place to place, at Patt the Cat's, Blues and various poetry venues. Were you with Tess's Magpie Tales a while ago?

    2. Found Tess on Facebook and she is now living in Manchester, UK. I live about 180 miles away. She had some financial problems and was facing eviction so about 60 of us made a donation and she is safe now and will not lose her home. Carrie started The Sunday Muse and asked me to join her so there I am every week. We are looking for new people so if you know anyone who might be interested they would be most welcome, yourself included. Carrie also was with Magpie Tales. . . . :)
