There is a place beyond
stars and moon where
magic happens
the dreamer musing her way
where poetry is born
words dance wildly
to the songs of life
breathing in wonders
of night, dreaming a way
out of day's madness

Thank you for visiting
Yes, there is that place, and I think finding it is exactly the issue...words dancing wildly...wonderful...such a wellspoken quadrille...what a lovely way to decribe those feelings
ReplyDeleteThank you ain, I hope you dance in that place of magic.
DeleteSuch a beautiful place. Our visits there keep us most alive.
ReplyDeleteMy friend, those visits are important to our existence.
DeleteI believe you are right. The muse resides in the imagination. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThe imagination is a marvelous place of wonders. May yours alway bring new adventures
DeleteAh yes that place of creation, of magic, of poetry.
ReplyDeleteNice!!!
Happy New Year Trudessa
Thanks for dropping by my blog today
Much love...
It is a magical place and the writer knows when the creative energy starts flowing
DeleteMuch love back
As I read this, two things surface: 1) the muse is always alive; and 2) the muse is interactive. Thank you for being a catalyst for those bubblings, Truedessa.
ReplyDeleteJadeLi, I am glad my words bubbled up some deeper thoughts.
DeleteAh! This is dreamily magical, lovely. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you kitty…
DeleteTruedessa - that's the kind of sleep-dreaming that I always hope for!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully written.

Thank you Ben, may your hopes be realized
DeleteMay we always find that place of magic.
ReplyDeleteMay it be so, Alex!
DeleteThe trick for a poet is to keep dreaming, even when awake. Your poem is lovely, and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI think you are correct, keep dreaming, keep creating
DeleteI think that's me.
ReplyDeleteMay you always find that magical place, Jane
DeleteI think without that place, those of us who need to dance there would go insane. Well-said.
ReplyDeleteI know I would be walking a fine line, without that place.
DeleteI love this. Every year I choose a word, and this year's is "wild." Love seeing it here!
ReplyDeleteSo perfect:
"words dance wildly
to the songs of life"
Hi De, may your ‘wild’ card play out for you in the best ways. Thanks for hosting.
DeleteOh yes... and finding them is only possible if you spend your time dreaming.
ReplyDeleteWe need to hold on to dreams! I am a dreamer so I do spend time in the mystical land.
DeleteLove it and ready to visit there;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra, pack light and take flight
DeleteI love this one.
ReplyDelete"dreaming a way
out of day's madness"
That's exactly what writing and journaling does for me :)
