A poetic blog to entertain my inner muse and express the ramblings of my heart. " I Choose the Frequency of Love"
Stunning! An uplifting take on the prompt.
Thank you for sharing you photo's and the prompt that stirred my muse.
Beautiful take on the prompt. I like this form. Simple but so full of beauty.
Thank you! I have used this form once or twice before I like it simplicity.
Those early moments are the truly best in the desert...
Bjorn, I yearn to go to the desert.
Hi Truedessa - what a lovely poem ... the desert is magical - but we need the life giving form of an oasis ... cheers Hilary
Hilary, that is a lovely thought and the oasis is waiting...
A rise of the fire, like a phoenix it can never truly expire
Hi Pat,Phoenix rising in the form of fire and light...
A phoenix is the perfect metaphor!
Thanks Alex, the fire-bird...
Your brevity is stunning; the form is new to me. I did consider doing a Western-themed haibun, but I've traveled the SW so extensively, I had to personalize it; smile.
Hi Glenn,I do so enjoy your western story.
Thus starts a new day with all the permutations to make the day more interesting. You've chosen a beautiful pic Truedessa!Hank

Thank you Sanaa, When I viewed the photo some key words jumped out at me and I thought ok, I'll run with that.
Such a beautiful sunrise & would really rejuvenate my soul as well ~
I would like to stand on that ground and watch the sunrise to be in that moment.
This is so beautiful. I can envision it, lifting! Wonderful photo, too.
Thanks Sherry, That photo just touched me...
I imagine myself in the Arizona desert, seeing the glow of Phoenix fill the distant night sky. Perfect metaphor.
Sunrise or sunset, that Phoenix will be amazing..
This warmed my soul. Thanks.
Glad you felt the sun's warmth...
I feel like I am soaring. Powerful!
Spread those wings and soar on...
"Phoenix rises" is a lovely way to describe the sunrise in the desert.
