If you climb the highest mountain peak
you might find me floating in the clouds
here, you can hear the evergreens speak
heaven filled with consonants and vowels
hearing wisdom in natures songs for peace
for this is the way of the ancient dreamers
healing the earth, destruction must cease
stars begin aligning, are you a believer
pale is the morning mist after a dark night
soaring on wings , high above the earth
stretching syllables towards morning light
waiting for messages of love to emerge

Happy Sunday Dear Friends
Thank you for visiting
I recently read that Jupiter and Saturn will align during
the winter solstice. This rare event hasn't taken place
in 800 years.
As a stargazer I will be out looking heavenward on December 21st.
I am reminded of this song today - crying here - simply beautiful
Wisdom flows in this gorgeous poem Truedessa! We shall be doing the same at our house on Dec 21. 🤩
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie, I hope we have clear skies to take in this amazing view.
DeleteYes, those stars and the Geminoids, best December 17, are on my calendar. I enjoyed the travels of your maiden, I would like to joing the "way of the ancient dreamers."
ReplyDelete..
I do like to travel the pathway of the dreamers. There is so much we can learn through our dreams.
DeleteWhat a lovely poem of serene motifs
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday Truedessa
much love...
Happy Sunday Gillena!
DeleteSomething about the line "stars begin aligning, are you believers" just takes me back to my parents' record collection and breaks my heart, just a little. Wonderful poem!
ReplyDeleteWell, now you have me pondering the record collection. Memories have a way of surfacing.
Delete"stretching syllables towards morning light / waiting for messages of love to emerge" - as we all are!
ReplyDeleteYes, we are waiting and may it be so....
DeleteI'm a believer! Your poem is a celebration of dreamers and believers.
ReplyDeleteHi Bev, I am a believer as well...
DeleteI enjoyed your interpretation of the image, captured quite beautifully.
ReplyDeleteLet the mist clear...
ReplyDeleteThat's a long time. Also supposed to be a great meteor shower soon.
Hi Alex, that is indeed a long time. I will have to look into
Deletethe meteor shower. I sat outside Friday night and stargazed, finding the constellations in the silence of the day. Some where out there a dragon flies.
I love the sound of nature's wisdom and I hear it in your words. A profound sense of peace you've captured here.
ReplyDeleteThank you Ingrid, we all need a bit of peace these days. May yours be filled with peace.
Delete"A Whiter Shade of Pale" is a musical and lyrical masterpiece. I used to copy down the words to see how it had been done.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree a true masterpiece that withstands the hands of time.
DeleteFor this is the way of the ancient dreamer.......yes, it is. Such a beautiful poem.
ReplyDeleteThank you my friend for visiting. This is the way of the dreamer for sure.
DeleteSuch a beautiful poem... I love dreamers.
ReplyDeleteDreams keep us creative in life.
