I took a ski-lift to the top of
a mountain and fell in love
with the splendorous color
Love the shape... and remaining in the moment is the best way to stay in its greatness
ReplyDeleteThanks Bjorn, I was trying to make a maple leaf. It was wonderful just breathing in the moment.
DeleteTake root and enjoy the moment
ReplyDeleteEnjoy I did :)
DeleteThat is indeed incredible!
ReplyDeleteIt truly was, Alex.
DeleteHey True,
ReplyDeleteHow are you
A ski-lift to the top. Behold, the wondrous view that doth inspire.
Gary
Well, if you could see my face right now I am smiling. It's nice to see you Gary. A pleasant surprise today.
DeleteI shall visualise your smiling face. Thank you for your kind reply. I'm still somewhat out of the loop. You keep on smiling, my thoughtful friend.

Let's catch up! We need a song of the day :)
DeleteLove what you did with the shape. A fun concrete poetic piece. And I, too, fall in love with autumn's paint every year. Lovely, T.
ReplyDeleteOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH !!! How wonderful to stand atop a mountain and see all of autumn unfurled before you. Wow. I loved this, love the maple leaf too.
ReplyDeleteI like how autumn leaves one breathless in the moment especially from such a perspective.
ReplyDeleteWondrous.
ReplyDeleteWow, if we could learn to be rooted in the moment, we would have learned it all!
ReplyDeleteOh, how absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your words and image.
There is something that really fills a person with awe when one looks down from the summit. No relationship to your poem really, but somehow after I read it I thought about Martin Luther King's words -- "I have been to the mountaintop......"
