  1. Oh, I love this! The breaking ground for the dead and the transformation of snow-angels.......just wonderful! Today, in town, I was so thrilled to see a heron perched on top of a huge old tree - I was looking around for someone to share it with, and stopped a couple walking by, and made them pay suitable homage. Smiles. That heron made my day.

    1. I am always thrilled to see a heron. There is something mystical about them and I think they are a good sign of change.

  2. It's the transformation that makes all the difference, isn't it? "Season of change."

  7. I really love how the image you chose and the write go together. Winter does seem barren of life and yet if you look closely, there are still a few that brave the elements (I caught a picture of a beautiful red cardinal the other day against a backdrop of empty trees and snow). The dead don't weep only those left behind, so what seems barren is simply transformed.

  11. I must admit I'm muffling my own tears because I'm just not cut out for Winter dear True. But I love snow and I love the imagery of snow angels transformed :)

    1. I guess you don't have to worry about snow where you are as you have warm climate most of the year. I'm not really cut out for it but, here I live going through the seasons of life.

  12. What a beautiful red cardinal against the backdrop of white nothingness...winter in all its glory waiting for spring to arrive and breathe life into it once again.

    1. The promises of spring will arrive but, first we must get through these cold winter days. Actually winter hasn't even arrived we are still in fall.
