Butternut Squash

This Copycat Panera Bread Squash Soup tastes just like the original, but I made it a bit healthier! Get the easy fall soup recipe on RachelCooks.com!

Autumn brings to mind
warm butternut squash soup
sweet and earthly

deliciously creamy texture
with hints of  garlic, sage
cinnamon and nutmeg

sprinkles of roasted pepitas
ground pepper and a dash
of paprika

filling my bowl on a fall day
giving thanks for the farmer's
harvest

gathering my words what can I
share with the world that is hungry
for food from the vine of hope

will a taste leave you satisfied
yearning for a warm feeling inside
I'll let you decide.....
