Sometimes, on a Friday night
after a week of craziness
I’m inclined to turn off the light
slipping into a bit of dreaminess
in the middle of golden twilight
fighting the weight of sleepiness
in my journal, these words, I write
“Tomorrow, is Saturday”
Hosted by De writing a quadrille

Thank you for visiting - may you have moments of dreaminess
Golden twilight and Pink dawn are the dreamiest. When all is quiet.

I think many of us know that feeling...
DeleteHooray for Saturday ~~ The way I felt when I worked non-stop Monday thru Friday! Sunday too. Now, every day feels like a day for dreaming, wandering, enjoying. Retirement is pretty nice.
ReplyDeleteHelen, enjoy each precious moment, I am sure you deserve it after many long hours of work.
