Sometimes, on a Friday night
after a  week of craziness
I’m inclined to turn off the light
slipping into a bit of dreaminess
in the middle of golden twilight
fighting the weight of sleepiness
in my journal, these words, I write

“Tomorrow, is Saturday”

  5. Hooray for Saturday ~~ The way I felt when I worked non-stop Monday thru Friday! Sunday too. Now, every day feels like a day for dreaming, wandering, enjoying. Retirement is pretty nice.
